Task and Follow-up Reminders
Scheduled reminders help users return to assigned tasks and lead follow-ups at the right time.
Reminder scope
Section titled “Reminder scope”Personal reminder summaries are assignment-focused:
- Task reminders use tasks assigned to the recipient.
- Follow-up reminders use follow-ups assigned to the recipient and related permitted lead context.
- Lead digests use records assigned to that recipient.
Admins and Managers can review organization work in the task and follow-up pages, but their personal reminder does not automatically become a team-wide digest.
Timezone
Section titled “Timezone”Due dates and reminder windows use the organization timezone. Confirm the workspace timezone before scheduling live work across regions.
Delivery channels
Section titled “Delivery channels”A reminder may create a persisted in-app notification and may also send email when the relevant email route is configured.
If email is unavailable, check the in-app notification center and the task or follow-up list directly.
Follow-up workflow
Section titled “Follow-up workflow”- Schedule the follow-up with a real owner and useful note.
- Review due today and overdue groups.
- Complete the follow-up after the sales action.
- Record the outcome.
- Schedule the next commitment when needed.
Automation boundary
Section titled “Automation boundary”Automations can schedule a follow-up after a supported lead event. They do not provide scheduled “no activity for N days” triggers. Due and overdue detection belongs to the reminder service.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”- Confirm the record is assigned to the expected user.
- Confirm the due time in the organization timezone.
- Check whether the record is already completed.
- Review in-app notifications separately from email delivery.
- Ask an Admin to confirm notification and email configuration.
