Tasks
Tasks track work that has a clear owner and completion state. A task may be linked to a lead, but it does not have to be.
Create a task
Section titled “Create a task”- Open Tasks and choose New Task, or create one from a lead.
- Enter a concise title describing the outcome.
- Add due date, assignee, category, notes, and linked lead where relevant.
- Save the task.
Visibility
Section titled “Visibility”Admin, Manager, and Sales roles can work with organization tasks. Staff sees tasks assigned to them, tasks they created, and tasks linked to their assigned leads.
A task creator retains visibility when a task is assigned to someone else.
Assignment
Section titled “Assignment”Assign a task only to someone who has enough lead access to complete it. Assignment can trigger an in-app or email alert according to configured delivery.
Complete and review
Section titled “Complete and review”Update the task status when work is finished. Use filters for owner, status, category, date, and lead context to keep the list actionable.
Tasks and follow-ups
Section titled “Tasks and follow-ups”Use a task for a piece of work such as preparing a proposal. Use a follow-up when the commitment is to contact or revisit a specific lead at a particular time.
