Manage and Troubleshoot Automations

Open Automations to review rule name, trigger, enabled state, run count, last run, and recent result.

Admin and Manager can modify rules. Sales and Staff have read-only access.

Disable a rule before making substantial changes. Enabling a rule affects future matching events; it does not replay old lead activity.

Duplicate a tested rule when another workflow needs similar logic. Change the name, conditions, and ownership targets before enabling the copy.

Open the logs for a rule to review durable automation audit entries. The dialog loads recent records first and can load more in batches.

A log helps answer:

  • Which lead and event started the evaluation?
  • Did conditions match?
  • Which actions succeeded or failed?
  • Was the rule enabled at that time?

Deleting a rule stops future evaluations. It does not reverse stage changes, assignments, tasks, follow-ups, notes, or notifications already created by earlier runs.

Use bulk deletion only after filtering and reviewing the selected rules.

Problem Check
Rule never runs Enabled state and actual event type
Conditions never pass Field values, operators, and AND/OR structure
Wrong owner is assigned Owner conditions and assignment target
Actions repeat Overlapping rules or a broad Lead Updated trigger
Form rule does not run Whether the intake resolved to a native form context
Logs are unavailable Ask an Admin to confirm the workspace is fully updated

Scheduled reminder problems should be investigated in Notifications, Tasks, or Follow-ups—not as an automation trigger issue.
