Manage the Sales Pipeline

The pipeline is a visual view of lead stages. Each card is a lead; moving the card changes the lead’s stage.

Open Dashboard to review the stage board. You can open a lead card for details and move permitted cards between stages.

Use search and filters to narrow the working set instead of adding unnecessary stages.

Open Leads for a table-focused workflow with detailed filters, sorting, bulk operations, import, export, and Trash. The list is usually better for data review; Kanban is better for understanding stage distribution.

Stages should represent meaningful sales milestones that the team can apply consistently. Define the entry criteria for each stage and train users to move records promptly.

Useful questions include:

  • Has the lead received a genuine first response?
  • Has qualification been completed?
  • Is a proposal or decision pending?
  • Is the opportunity won, lost, or still active?

Do not assume a stage automatically sends the same provider event for every workspace. Google conversion-action IDs and Meta event names are mapped in Settings -> Ads. Review those mappings before renaming or repurposing a milestone.

  • Record a next follow-up for active opportunities.
  • Enter lead value when it becomes meaningful.
  • Use approved lead sources and categories.
  • Move dead opportunities to an explicit lost stage.
  • Review stale, unassigned, and overdue records regularly.
