Notifications
The notification center
Click the bell icon in the top navigation to open the notification center. It shows all recent alerts for your account.
Unread notifications are marked with a dot. Click any notification to jump to the relevant record (lead, task, or setting).
Notification types
| Type | Triggered by |
|---|---|
| New lead | A form submission creates a new lead |
| Lead assigned to you | An Admin or Manager assigns a lead to you |
| Follow-up due | A follow-up you are responsible for is due today |
| Follow-up overdue | A follow-up has passed its due date |
| Task assigned to you | A task is assigned to you |
| Task overdue | A task’s due date has passed |
| Automation alert | An automation’s send_alert action fires |
| Trial ending | Your Starter trial is approaching expiry |
| Lead capacity warning | Your lead count is approaching the plan limit |
| Billing event | Payment succeeded, failed, or plan was changed |
Notification channels
Each notification can be delivered via:
- In-app — appears in the notification center bell
- Email — sent to your registered email address
Configuring preferences
Go to Settings → Notifications to control which events send notifications and which channels they use.
For each notification type, you can set:
- Off — no notification
- In-app only
- Email only
- Both — in-app and email
Changes save automatically.
Role-based notification defaults
| Role | Default notification scope |
|---|---|
| Admin | All events across the organization |
| Manager | All lead, task, and team events |
| Sales | Only events related to their assigned leads |
| Staff | Only events directly assigned to them |
Admins can adjust defaults per user in Settings → Team.
Clearing notifications
Mark a notification as read by clicking it. Mark all as read with Mark all read button in the notification center.
Notifications are retained in the center for 30 days.
