Roles and Access

Overview

Every user in your Convertly CRM organization has a role that controls what they can see and do. Roles are assigned when you invite a team member and can be changed at any time by an Admin.


Tenant roles

These roles exist inside your CRM organization.

Admin

The organization owner. Created automatically when a new account is signed up.

Can do everything, including:

  • Manage team members (invite, remove, change roles)
  • Configure pipeline stages
  • Build and publish forms
  • Set up Google Ads and Meta Ads attribution credentials
  • Build automations
  • Manage billing and subscription
  • View all leads, tasks, and analytics

Manager

For team leads and operations staff.

Can:

  • View and manage all leads and the pipeline
  • Assign tasks and follow-ups to any team member
  • Access analytics dashboards
  • Build automations
  • View forms and responses

Cannot:

  • Change billing or subscription
  • Invite or remove users
  • Modify organization settings

Staff

Limited access for support-style users.

Can:

  • View leads in read-only mode
  • Log notes and update basic contact fields

Cannot:

  • Move leads through stages
  • Access automations, billing, or settings

Role assignment

  • The first user who signs up automatically becomes Admin
  • Admins invite additional users via Settings → Team
  • The invited user receives an email with a join link
  • Roles can be changed by an Admin at any time from the team management page
